Thank you for having your say

Western Sydney International Airport thanks everyone who took part in the public exhibition of our 2025-2045 preliminary draft master plan.

Over the three-month public exhibition period, from 6 June to 2 September 2025, we worked hard to make it as easy as possible for our community and stakeholders to get involved. Here is a snapshot of what we achieved together:

How we engaged

  • More than 440 people engaged face-to-face
  • 13 community pop-ups across Western Sydney (including Glenmore, Kemps Creek, Cobbitty, Narellan, Springwood, Bradfield, Luddenham, Wallacia, Penrith, Silverdale, Warragamba, Campbelltown and Parramatta)
  • 3 community information sessions at the WSI Experience Centre
  • More than 5000 visits to our online engagement portal, Master Plan Central

Making it accessible

  • Printed copies available at councils and community facilities
  • Information translated into multiple languages
  • Dedicated 1800 number and community inbox for questions
  • FAQs, fact sheets and posters to support conversations

Spreading the word

  • Metro and local newspaper advertising
  • Letterbox drops to local residents
  • Targeted social media
  • Briefings with government agencies, local councils, MPs, First Nations, and community groups.

What's next?

We’re currently reviewing all submissions received to determine what updates and changes are required to the Master Plan.

A revised Draft Master Plan will then be submitted to the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government for review and approval later this year.

The Final Master Plan will be available at wsiairport.com.au in early 2026 subject to Ministerial approval.

We’ll continue to share updates as the process progresses.
